Also, check out my espresso-cataloging efforts over on the tumblr.  As I leave the espresso capital of the East coast (ie Brooklyn) for the Great American West, the thing I’ll miss the most is my espresso machine.  This is a tribute to you, my espressos.

A couple weeks ago, Stephen Pierson sent me an email introducing his publication, Canteen, to me.  (Sidenote; I didn’t realize I was now on the list of “bloggers/photographers that matter.”  Cool!  I’ve officially arrived.  Please send more free stuff people!) The site looked great.  The contributors are on point.  They look like they’re doing cool stuff.  Also, if you’re in Brooklyn on Thursday, check out the Canteen issue Six launch party:

I got a couple of their magazines last week and I’m even more impressed.  The photos look diverse, well-curated, and beautiful.  The printing looks fabulous.  They also have all these other things everywhere – I believe they call them words, or something.  I’m sure they meeeaaan something, but you know, I’m no smarty pants.

No but really, Canteen seems like something you want to sit down with for an hour or two and leisurely digest it.  Preferably here.  Some photos to encourage you guys to pick one up:
